Good-byes are Sad.

Well on Aug. 22nd we said good-bye to our beloved kitten Oliver. He passed away some time during the night. We found him curled up on our deck, looking very much like he was just sleeping, but he had died. We are all very sad and miss him very much. He was a sweet and docile kitten; very good natured. We are not 100% sure of the cause of death, although we have a hunch . . . We had a funeral in our backyard and buried him next to out deceased fish (Otto). It was all very sad and we cried. But it has been good for us to talk about death with our little girls and help them deal with the finality of it. Also the fact that Oliver is gone from the earth, but that we will see him again in heaven.

Good-Byes are sad. We miss you, Oliver.

Hogle Zoo with Aunt Becca

All three girls by the elephants! One of our favorties to see at the Zoo!
O.K. so I don't know how to rotate the picture---just rotate your head---this is a cute baby giraffe, it's tongue is 11 inches long!
Sam and Scotty with blue mouths from their sno-cones! yummy!
Scott and the Rino, which he informed me is the coolest animal and that he wants to be one. Go figure?
A drink from the Lion's mouth . . .
Girls by the rotating, water, ball thingy (I am pretty sure that's the real name for it.)
The whole family! We got to see the neatest bird show and got our picture with a bald eagle!
Aunt Becca teaching Kenz gang signs!
Kenz and the Zebras!
Aunt Becca teaching Whit gang signs! Thanks Aunt Becca!

We got to go to UT this past weekend for Scott's cousin Travis's wedding! We stayed with Becca and got to go to the Hogle Zoo! We had lots of fun with Aunt Becca. She is so sweet to the girls and helped me take care of them. One morning she let me and Scott sleep in while she read books to Whitney for 40 min. We love you, Becca!

Whitney is Two!

Whitney and her cake!Whitney and her favortie gift that she got . . . pickles!
Sweet Whitney. We love you so much. I can hardly believe that you are 2. From the moment you were born you have brought nothing but joy into our family. I adore you. I am so proud of all that you are learning and how smart you are. Thanks for letting me rock you and for giving lots of hugs.

Happy Anniversary Dan and Macie

Dan and Macie at Lagoon for their one year wedding anniversary!
Scotty and Chrissy tagging along to Lagoon on Dan and Macie's anniversary!
Eating Lunch! My hair got wet and destroyed on one of the rides, so I am especially beautiful!
Bumper cars, I am such a great driver--I spent most of the time in reverse spinning circles. ?
Darling Macie, who actually got rocked so hard on the bumper cars--first Dan nails her from the front and then another kid crashed into her from behind. Ouch! Whiplash!
Scott the ultimate race car driver! I mean, bumper car driver!

We had the best time at Lagoon together! We got to go on all the rides that we wanted to, some of them more than once! Towards the end of the day Dan and I got sick (motion sickness---it's a Robison thing) and Scott and Macie went on more rides without us, so it worked out alright! A special thanks to Kim for watching our girls for like 18 hours while we were gone! Kim you are an amazing person, the girls had a great time with you. Thanks for being loving and kind. We love you.

Of Chuckers and Chickens . . .

Samantha, McKenzie, and Whitney
Chrissy and the girls!
Scott, the Chucker, and the girls!
The Chucker "kissing" Whit.
Kenzie and Sam watching the game!

We took the girls to a Chuckers game in IF! The pictures make it look more fun than it really was. The girls were not super interested in the game and kept wanting to swing on the hand rail on the stairs next to us . . . the game was slow and somewhat of a blow -out and we ended up leaving at the bottom of the 4th and the score was something sad . . . 1 to 0 --us losing or something pathetic like that! But I thought the pictures were cute. The weather was beautiful and Scott and I enjoyed being together at the game! The most exciting thing there was the chucker's mascot, that the girls thought was a"Chicken"! and Whit became obsessed with where the chicken was! If she couldn't see it she would say over and over, "Chicken? Daddy? Chicken Daddy?" It was so funny!

Riding a two-wheeler!

Sam in front of our house, learning to ride with out training wheels!
Kenzie attempting to ride with out training wheels. She is giving us her "thumbs-up!" sign, which looks more like thumbs down . . .
Scott helping Kenzie balance and ride!
Sam taking off on her own! You Go Girl!

On one Monday night after FHE we took the girls out side and decided it was time to take off the training wheels. This is something we should have done for Sam about 2 summers ago, but we never really thought about doing it. Sam caught on right away and after a little help, she took right off and hasn't tipped over since! Kenz is still practing and we put her training wheels back on. The funny thing was that the girls kept saying, "look Mom, I can ride a 2-wheeler!" and it was driving Scott crazy, he kept telling them, "It is just called a bicycle."

Cook-out in our backyard!

Cute girls!

Sam has Felix(Formally known as Sarafina, but upon taking "her" in to get fixed we found out that "she" is a "he"--hence Felix) in her dress!
Dan and Macie setting up badminton!

For my 28th birthday we had a cook-out in our back yard! I love cook-outs! We ate hotdogs, which are my favorite (I am a classy girl, what can I say . . . ) and then had cake and ice-cream! Scott, Dan, Macie and I played badminton, and we are all fairly terrible at it! We had the best time laughing at each other because we couldn't hit the birdie! It was great! A fun birthday, even if I wasn't happy about turning 28.

Rigby Lake at 28!

Scott's youngest sister Karissa, laying-out! AND Cameron in the background!
Me and Becca (my sister)
Me and the girls!
Chrissy and Scotty!
Me and baby Whitney!
Macie (my sister in-law) and Dan (my brother) building sand castles!
Cameron (Scott's youngest brother) swimming!

So I turned 28 this July, on the 24th. Seriously was not excited to see that number roll around. I feel super old. But What are you going to do about it? So we had some fun at Rigby Lake with everyone! At least I am not 30 yet . . . hey Scott?
